Deepika - Ranbir hit a rough patch

Rumors are rife that Bollywood’s young couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are not on talking terms. Deepika apparently feels that Ranbir is not serious about their relationship.

A source says, “Everyone knows that Neetu never really approved of Deepika for her son even though Ranbir tried and succeeded, to a large extent, to make his mom thaw towards his girl. The OSO girl somewhere felt that her beau wasn’t making a commitment to her, even though she was fully committed to the relationship because he was waiting for mommy’s approval.”

However another friend says,”They are together. Fights happen in every relationship. This is the eighth time that everyone’s convinced they are heading for a split. But it’s all fine. They’ve patched up”.

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have a great chemistry on screen

Akshay Kumar thinks that the on-screen chemistry between him and Katrina Kaif is very sizzling. He believes that if they are casted together in a film then there are better chances of its hitting the silver screen.

There have been quite a few movies that they have done together and they have performed very well at the box office too. These movies are Namastey London, Welcome, Singh Is Kinng and Blue being the most recent one. Akshay has also recently admitted that Katrina has brought a lot of good luck to his career in Bollywood. He also feels that the actress is extremely talented and he takes pleasure in working with her.

Tanisha will be seen in an independent Hollywood film

Tanisha Mukherjee is all set to feature in an indie film produced by a US studio. Sources reveal that Tanisha is in LA for the since the last few weeks preparing for the shoot.

Earlier this year, when the actress had accompanied Kajol for the shooting of My Name is Khan there.

She'd met with a couple of local producers. They saw her previous work and agreed to cast her in the role.

A source reveals, "The role requires an Indian girl and Tanisha fits the bill. Also she's not too excited with the kind of work coming her way here.

Which is why she was more than willing to do this project. Tanisha is supposed to be the only Indian actor in the yet-untitled film.

Culture clash The film tells the story of an Indian girl who's recently relocated to the US and how she comes to terms with the clash in culture."

The source adds that Tanisha is presently staying in LA with a friend and will only return once the shoot is complete.

"She plans to extend her stay there if required, but as of now she's gone for a couple of months". Neha Dhupia's Holly show Recently, Neha Dhupia was also in Hollywood to promote.

Saif - Bebo’s Kurbaan Preponed

Karan Johar’s next offering Kurbaan starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor has been preponed to avoid any competition.

Earlier Kurbaan was going to be released on November 27th along with Akshay-Katrina starrer De Dana Dan. But now it’s release date has been preponed to 20th November.

Director Rensil says, We will be releasing Kurbaan on November 20 as no other film was scheduled to release on that day. We want to avoid a clash with any other film. Why not release solo when we have an empty slot? Clashes don’t help anyone.”

Karishma : I am not into Yoga

While Kareena Kapoor swears by Yoga for her perfect figure, elder sister Karisma Kapoor prefers the traditional “gym and a walk” exercise regime.

Lolo says, “Kareena is the yoga endorser (of our family). She gets after us to do yoga. But I am not so much into yoga as she is. She has really taken to it and it’s a great form of exercise but I prefer the gym.”
“I live a healthy lifestyle. I eat well, but I exercise and do everything in moderation. I go to the gym or for a walk and that’s it for me.”

Talking about Kareena’s size zero figure, Karishma says, “I don’t think there’s any size zero. I genuinely feel that Kareena just lost all her baby fat. She made herself fit and got the cuts that her body has. She just worked at getting that and has been able to bring that out.”

Aishwarya Rai : I am not on any website

Fans are excited to talk to their favorite actress Aishwarya Rai on a popular networking website, however Aishwarya insists that somebody is faking her.

Aishwarya says, “I was taken aback and at the same time amused that I exist on the social networking sites… when I don’t. That too when the impostor was posting messages like I would be, obviously taking cues from the various interviews I give. That person is aware of my schedules which is also available to the media. When I do get online, I will let everyone know, I owe it to my fans. So the next time you write to me expecting to get a response, you can be sure it’s not me. The social networking sites are a great way to communicate but then it should be done with some kind of authentication.”

Kat didn’t like Sallu’s painting Dress

We saw real life couple Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif walking hand in hand at his Being Human show at HDIL Couture Week. However Salman revealed that Katrina did not like his hand painting dress which she wore on the ramp.

Salman said, “Honestly, she didn’t appreciate it much. Nevertheless, she enjoyed being a part of the show.” So does he plan to continue painting? “I don’t plan anything. I love painting and that’s why I do it.”

However during the Being Human show, Katrina talking about her dress and said, “It’s a work of art.Within hours in the morning Shane and Falguni Peacock took my measurement and stitched the dress for me. It’s got an amazing feel flow and look to it. Almost surreal. I feel different wearing it. And when I’m the only girl walking the ramp for Salman.”

Her younger sister Kareena is known for her yoga obsession, but actress Karisma Kapoor, who is a mother of one and expecting a second, says.

She prefers the "gym and a walk" unlike her sibling.
"Kareena is the yoga endorser (of our family). She gets after us to do yoga. But I am not so much into yoga as she is.

She has really taken to it and it's a great form of exercise but I prefer the gym," Karisma told IANS. "I live a healthy lifestyle.

SRK, Gauri sizzle on Ramp

As Bollywood star couple Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri sashayed down the ramp together for the grand finale of the HDIL India Couture Week, they  tole hearts with their chemistry.This was the first time the star couple walked together on the ramp for their friend and filmmaker Karan Johar who in collaboration with designer Varun Bahl presented his men’s wear collection Friday.

Apart from them, Bollywood’s young brigade, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, also strutted down the ramp.Cheering for all of them were Hrithik Roshan and Suzanne, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Kajol, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, Yash Chopra, Jaya Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Uday Chopra.

“Oh, they looked wonderful together. It didn’t look like Gauri was walking the ramp for the first time, as she was walking with confidence. It was a great show,” Deepika told IANS.Johar’s collection was glamorous and targeted at today’s young generation. “The line is basically formal but has a rock star feel to it.

But it is completely wearable,” said Johar. Black dominated the colour palette and the line had everything, from stylish shirts, sherwanis, coats to hot-pants, slim fit trousers and waistcoats. The duo had also designed shoes and bags to go with the collection.

Neetu Chandra’s maid puts her through the wringer

The word ‘maid’ spells trouble in Bollywood. Hardly had the Shiney Ahuja controversy died down, there were whispers that how Neetu Chandra’s maid, Aashma, threatened to commit suicide when the actress asked to leave for good. Our source said, “Neetu had hired Aashma (who is from Nepal) to do the household chores and take care of home. Neetu met Aashma 10 months ago.

A common friend referred Aashma to Neetu.” Things were fine till Neetu noticed expensive electronic gadgets vanishing from her home.Our source said, “Neetu began losing stuff from her home. She even lost her brand new phone recently.

When Neetu questioned Aashma about her things, she’d would just shrug her shoulders saying, “Mujhe kuch pata nahin hai.”Neetu, however, did not want to make an issue out of it and kept quiet. She felt helpless. But things took a turn for the worse when Aashma’s husband began staying in the house whenever Neetu would be on long outdoor spells shooting for films.”This used to happen behind Neetu’s back. She had no knowledge of it till someone told her about it.

She then asked Aashma to leave. She did not want to confront her nor make an issue about it,” said the source.The maid then threatened to commit suicide.

“The threat scared the actress. Neetu kept quiet and tolerated the threats for two weeks. She then called the maid’s husband over to the house.Neetu also called over her spotboy, the building watchman, her brother and his friend as witnesses so that there were no misunderstandings,” says the source.Neetu confirmed the incident saying, “It may sound silly but I felt emotionally blackmailed by her threats.

And it took me time to resist this kind of a pressure. I have nothing to say beyond this.”

Police arrests three for theft at Kareena’s house

Police today claimed to have cracked a case of theft that took place at actress Kareena Kapoor’’s suburban Khar residence with the arrest of her three domestic helps, who have confessed to the crime.

A pearl set and a ring collectively worth Rs 41,000 and Rs 1.53 lakh in cash were recovered from them, police said. The incident occurred on October 8 at Kapoor’’s residence and police said that the trio had stolen cash and other belongings valued at Rs 2.50 lakh from the actor’’s house.

The three accused identified as Pawansingh Chouhan (24), Anita Osami (35) and Tina Yadav (26) were arrested on October 15 after they admitted to have committed the crime after being questioned, Additional Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta told PTI.

The trio was remanded to police custody till Monday. According to police, on October 8, Kareena’’s secretary Zahid Akram Khan had kept Rs 2.14 lakh in cash at Babita’’s (Kareena’’s actor mother) room when she was not there and informed her about it. “When Babita returned home, she could not find the cash, following which she spoke to Khan in this regard,” N Sonavane, officer of Khar police station said.”They searched the entire house and also asked their 10 servants.

During the search, she also came to know a pearl set and a ring were also missing along with cash,” investigating officer Sonavane said.

After keeping silent for a while, South Indian beauty Asin Thottumkal has surfaced again with her second Bollywood film London Dreams getting ready for release on 30th October. This time, Asin Thottumkal speaks on her relationship with actor Salman Khan.
