Desperate times call for desperate measures and that’s what Amrita Rao is resorting to as she tries to resurrect her career. She has gone the whole hog with revealing and dropping her clothes for Anil Kapoor-produced Shortkut her next release.
But, even that doesn’t seem to be enough as she’s missing in the major part of the promotional campaign, neither is anyone really talking about her new avatar. So she’s taken things in her own hands and as pictures speak louder than a thousand words, she’s going to make all the right noises.
She’s lined up one photoshoot after another with some of the top notch photographers in Mumbai and her brief for the designers is simple-snip, snip, snip, the length of the skirts et al. She also put herself through a rigorous diet for a week to fit into.
The almost size zero clothes that her designers had got for her. And now that the pictures are done she’s hoping to get them splashed all over the magazines and give the original cover girls like Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif a run for their money.
