GetAppQuotes helps connects entrepreneurs with mobile app developers

Saturday, July 31, 2010

Got an idea for a mobile app? Now is the time to cash in on that idea. According to Gartner, Inc, consumers will spend $6.2 billion in 2010 and mobile application revenue is predicted to grow to $29.5 billion by the end of 2013. That’s an increase of over 450% making the mobile app industry one of the fastest growing technology industries since the internet boom of 2000.

Success stories of mobile developers making fortunes off apps have emerged almost overnight. Stories like that of Ethan Nicholas, whose iPhone app iShoot earned him over $900,000 in eight months. Stories like that of Ge Wang, owner of Smule, who reported iPhone app profits of over $1 million for 2008. In addition to these stories, the Android has proved itself equally as lucrative for developers like that of Kim, a former Volkswagen engineer and co-founder of San Francisco-based startup Picwing, who now earns over $13,000 each month off an Android app called Car Locator.

“The mobile app market is somewhat of a gold rush right now and small time developers are making big fortunes off of relatively simple applications. It is truly amazing to see mobile app developers become millionaires in the matter of months,” says Andrew Gazdecki, president of GetAppQuotes, a company specializing in connecting entrepreneurs and companies with mobile app developers.

Copy2Contact 1.0.1 Offers Acclaimed Technology to iPhone Users

Friday, July 30, 2010

Announcing that Anagram Technologies, the developer of Copy2Contact, has released a new product for iPhone and iPod touch users. The popular Copy2Contact technology that has previously only been available for the PC and BlackBerry is now being offered as an exciting, new App. Users now have a fast, easy way to capture contact information with just a tap from virtually any text source, eliminating re-typing, copying fields of data, and errors.

Anyone who keeps a current contact list is well aware of how painstaking it can be to transfer the information from an email or document. Flipping back and forth between screens to copy and paste each line is inaccurate and error-prone, as is retyping all the data by hand. It’s also very time consuming.

So, what’s the solution? How can you improve the ease and precision of moving details to your contact list? The answer is Copy2Contact! This technology has been helping users of Microsoft Outlook and Salesforce for the past eight years, and BlackBerry device owners get even more benefit from its streamlined contact entry process. Companies like LinkedIn trust it and the program has gained acclaim as its user base has grown.

Friday, July 23, 2010

Independent iPhone app developer, Emir F Samsuddin, announced today that AppliFX 1.3 (pronounced as “apply effects”) is available for sale in the Apple’s App Store. The app was created specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch platform, utilizing the touch interface.

There are many unique effects available in the app – such as the famous QuikSplash. Quiksplash is a revolutionary and probably the easiest color splashing filter. You just need to choose a color from your photo with one tap and that color and its nearest shades will be highlighted while the others are changed to black and white (grayscale). There is no need to draw on the photo like the other apps do. This filter is great and it is evident since iQuikSplash, the free version of AppliFX, is currently ranked at No.2 in the Top Free Photography apps listing.

The Sin filter creates the effects as seen in the Sin City movie. The Sakura, Snowy and Autumn filters change the appearance of trees into pinkish Sakura tree appearance, snow appearance, and tree with dried leaves appearance, respectively.
