Bollywood Actress - Kareena Kapoor on Kambakkht Ishq

Kareena Kapoor is barely out of sight. If she isn’t seen in a film, stories about her relationships and fitness keep doing the rounds. But this time, she flew from London to promote her just-released “Kambakkht Ishq”.

A remake of the 2002 Tamil film, “Pammal K. Sambandam”, the Hindi version is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

It stars Akshay Kumar, with whom Kareena has made a comeback several years after “Aitraaz”. Aftab Shivdasani and Amrita Arora form part of the supporting roles.

“I play supermodel Samrita Rai in the film. Samrita believes that there is no need for a man in her life and that there is no such thing as love. She meets stuntman Viraj Shergill (Akshay), who has his own take on love.”
