Hrithik Says no to Agneepath Remake

Recently reports had suggested that Bollywood’s ace director Karan Johar was planning a remake of amitabh Bachchan’s hit movie, Agneepath and had approached Hrithik Roshan to play the protagonist’s role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan. However, if reports are to believed, Hrithik Roshan has refused the offer due to unavailabilty of dates.

Karan Johar wanted to start the filming in early 2010 but the actor had already his dates for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish.Due this reason, Karan turned to Abhishek Bachchan, who happily accepted the role his father had played in the original movie. Infact, Amitabh won his first National award for his role in Agneepath.
