Extremist Group Threatens IU VC

Lahore: Law enforcement agencies are trying to trace the activists of the extremist organisation Al-Jehad. The organisation has threatened to target the Islamia University vice-chancellor (IU VC). Sources said that the vice-chancellor had received a letter written in blood and an SMS in which he was asked to stop musical programmes in the university otherwise he would have to face dire consequences. After receiving these threats, the security of VC Bilal A Khan was beefed up. Aaj Kal Report
