Bipasha Basu Returns to Modelling in Europe

Bipasha is heading to the fashion capital of Europe, Milan, next month for a string of fashion shows. The actress is quite excited about this as during her modeling days, Bips had made Paris her base for six months and made a lot of budding designer friends, many of whom she is still in touch with.

The designers are all household names now, like Bips herself, and often visit her in Mumbai. She also spends time with them whenever she is in Europe.

Last year, when she was shooting for Bachna Ae Haseeno in Italy, she admitted that she missed the whole fashion scene and the opportunity she had of being an international supermodel. “If Bipasha had stuck to modelling, she would have easily been a top-rung model, internationally,” says a designer who considers her his muse. While in Italy, Bips had talked about returning to do some shows there, and her friends were keen on having a Bollywood star display their clothes on the runway. So when time came for them to present their clothes in a series of fashion shows in Milan, they roped in Bipasha. The actress was only too keen to walk in the shows along with other seasoned, foreign professional models. The ex-model is once again set to be a showstopper in the Milan fashion shows.
