Indian cricket team’s loss to England at ongoing T20 World Cup not only made the team to pack their bags but also the crew of film Love Aaj Kal.
The producers of the film were planning to promote their film during the matches and had such tie-up with the broadcasters of the T20 World Cup. But India’s exit from the event made the crew to come back home. Main lead Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone, director Imtiaz Ali and co-producer Dinesh Vijan went to London on Thursday and there was a plan that Saif and Deepika will appear in the commentary box during the matches that India play. However they also had a plan to shoot a promotional video there. But eventually they decided that there is no point in staying back as very few Indians will attend the matches of other countries.
When asked to Imtiaz Ali, he said, “We only went for the India vs. England match. We were not supposed to promote the film in the remaining matches.”
